Give hair damaged by colour, lightening and heat a leave-in repair step. The K18 mask helps restore strength and softness, with a four-minute wait before you finish styling.
The K18 mask goes on after shampoo, with no conditioner before it, a 4-minute wait and no rinsing. Olaplex No.3PLUS goes on wet hair before shampooing for 3 minutes, is rinsed out, and is followed by shampoo and conditioner. Miracle Hair Rescue is an after-wash spray for clean, damp hair, with a 90-second wait and no rinsing. Which to choose depends on your needs and the step you would rather add.
Apply the mask first as directed and wait 4 minutes. Then use a small amount of K18 oil on the lengths and ends, and wait another 4 minutes before styling damp hair, for the strengthening benefit. The oil is sold separately from the K18 set.
Both are the same leave-in repair mask with a 4-minute wait. The 15 ml size suits trying it out or travelling, but the number of pumps may differ because of the pump; use an amount that suits your hair's length and thickness, following the instructions on the pack.
